[Oman] Sales Manager

INTRODUCTION:

DMS is the exclusive local representative for many media brands including Snap, Pinterest, Anghami, FootballCo and so many more across a number of key Middle East & North Africa (MENA) markets. We are looking for an energetic sales manager to take the lead in growing sales revenues from the Oman market.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in supporting his direct line and driving the sales across various clients and agencies within multiple industries in the Oman market. This role focuses on fostering relationships with direct local clients and crafting customized business solutions that monetize our media properties effectively and meet sales targets.

 JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES & OBJECTIVES:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned brands and their market dynamics.
  • Contribute to business solutions that drive client growth and platform revenue.
  • Identify market-driven opportunities to boost business growth.
  • Prospect opportunities based on seasonality and market requirements to drive incremental revenue.
  • Ensure finalized revenue goals are met or exceeded as set by the Director.
  • Stay abreast of new KPI metrics and ensure alignment with client objectives.
  • Communicate product updates and industry best practices to clients.
  • Collaborate across teams (Publisher, Client, Product, CRM, etc.) to ensure cohesive workflow and campaign success.
  • Utilize planning and reporting tools to enhance client propositions and contribute to weekly portfolio reviews.
  • Work closely with the CRM team and Account Managers to monitor and ensure campaign effectiveness.
  • Develop and share successful case studies within the industry.

 OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Keep updated with changes in media and technology landscapes.
  • Submit weekly pipeline data and attend quarterly revenue meetings 

   MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE/ TRAINING/ QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Education/Experience:
  • University degree in any field (passion for the digital industry is a must).
  • At least 5 years of experience in the digital industry with a strong focus on social media.
  1. Specific Knowledge:
  • Strong data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for social media platforms
  • General understanding of Performance and Programmatic landscape
  • Communication and analytical skills.
  • Established Client and Agency Contacts
  1. Ability/Skills:
  • Proven project management and sales skills, including prospecting, negotiation, and presentation.
  • Basic understanding of the media landscape.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is advantageous.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and complex situations.
  • Numerical Skills: Ability to analyse and understand mathematical data related to budget, sales, forecasting, research and trends.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems/ opportunities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
